Good day!

I am a freelance editorial cartoonist, and comic strip author and artist. Currently I am aspiring to be an independent comic book creator. In fact, I officially released yesterday the first 10 copies of my book titled "M/T SOLAR1 CARTOONS ATBP.", a collection of original and unpublished editorial cartoons tackling mainly the issue of the oil spill in Guimaras.

Interestingly, this is the first kind of book (as far as I know... I wont dare say its first in the world hehe...) published in the country as well.

My main objective here is to help the victims of that August 11 tragedy and at the same time promote the professionalization of the editorial cartooning in the community and regional newspapers in the country.

Thus, the main feature in this book is the cartoons, used as medium to deliver this writer/artist's thoughts regarding the matter. It is accompanied by a comic strip below it, so as to provide a lighter side to the serious matters being discussed "cartoonically".

Both opposition and administration political players in Iloilo is sending strong statements against Boboy. Former Congressman Garin, whom Boboy left last 2004 election to support the candidacy of now Governor Tupas, is not happy of having the TESDA chief as party mate. Recently, Garin almost challenged Boboy to a fist fight after Boboy repeatedly attempted to talk to him in public.

On the other hand, Syjuco is feeling the pressure from the Mayors of the 2nd District. The Mayors is demanding for his explanation regarding the anomalous divertion of funds from his Pork Barrel to his ghost NGO. The Mayors claimed that not a single centavo had reached their municipality, and not a single project had materialized out of that missing fund.
